Post from Flock

With Flock, blogging is a fully integrated part of the Web. Flock includes a blog editor that works with WordPress (and the new Wordpress.com hosted service), Movable Type and Typepad (and shortly also Live Journal) and Blogger. Other blogging platforms have not been tested.

Flock ...

Hi ,

Lately I have been hearing the term web 2.0 too often , and suddenly we are bombarded with products that claim to be web2.0 compliant.

We will look at what is Web2.0 in a separate post.

Today, the news is that a new Browser , named Flock has been released.

If you think , what is the big issue , you need to know that this is the first browser which is built on Web2.0 technology and is based on Mozilla Code.

I am going to try this one right away .

See the article at

and download the browser at

Google Reader

Hello ,

For a couple of years , I have been catching up on all happenings in the world thru a couple of sites , updated daily. The first thing I do in the morning is to check these sites.

This phenomenon brought about the concept of RSS feeds , wherein you need not go back to the website to see what has been updated , rather you can view only the new contents.

So we come to the topic of RSS Readers , which help us in managing this mess .
Google for its part also has released a RSS reader , named as the google reader.

It is available at www.reader.google.com

I have started using this reader to catch up on news lately and this is the first RSS reader I am using.

On first look , it seems to have what and all is needed , but obviously the important drawback being , it doesnt work in all browsers.

Cheers
